“Once Upon A Time” (Part 1)
Storytelling is powerful. It’s an act of creating something from nothing — like magic.
Children love it when you to tell them stories, not only because they enjoy that magic, but also because it affirms that you are powerful, and that you use your power to serve them.
Improve Your Groove
Today, add power to your partnerships by sharing delightful or inspiring stories with your partners, young and old.
Younger children like make-believe stories that start with “Once upon a time” and have a main character they identify with. Older kids and adults like real-life stories, especially personal stories about your own “hero’s journeys.”
In Part 2, we’ll take a look at the stories you tell yourself.
